This idyllic gravel and dirt road leads to Dinesen Prairie. The view is looking from the prairie back across the farmland toward the paved road which lies beyond the first hill. When I was there in June, the rains had kept the fields so wet that some of the planting had not yet been done.
The rain, however, created the deepest, purest greens. That green was something of a problem. Photos of the scene, do not capture the vibrancy of the scene, but painting all the different shades and temperatures of green demands the closest of attention to the component colors and the compliments of green. I gave the ol’ color wheel a workout.
